Florida, Inspiration.
My professional development began with the Walt Disney World program in Florida. Cast Members commit to respecting the four keys of The Walt Disney Company: safety, courtesy, show, and efficiency. I carry with me these values and incorporate them into my design work.California, Education.
My decision to study toy design at Otis College of Art & Design was one of the most proactive decisions I’ve made. The classes were structured enough to give me direction and purpose for my projects, while still allowing me to design a product for my choice of age, gender, theme, and more. At Otis, I began to discover who I am as an artist and my strengths and challenges. I developed and refined skills such as problem solving, self-discipline, and visual communication.Wisconsin, Profession.
Studying toy design has prepared me in a variety of ways. I developed my three-dimensional thinking through sculpting physically and digitally, prototyping, and playtesting. I also improved my 2D sketching, rendering, and brainstorming skills. It was through a combination of all of these skills and more that my projects would come to fruition. Returning to my home state of Wisconsin opened up the opportunity to pursue a freelance career in toy design with companies such as Jazwares and Spin Master, and I’m ready to bring your ideas to life.

Services

I provide a wide range of services, most commonly: designing, creating/revising product documents, creating written and visual direction for product revisions, and creating vector graphics. Additionally, I offer small scale services including GIF creation, minor video/photo editing, and market research. I work mostly in the Adobe suite and am open to other tasks to fit the needs of the client.

Friendship Abroad:
Seeking out the Treasure of Friendship
(2020)

By design, Friendship Abroad’s mission is to impress upon our youngest generation the importance of learning about other languages and cultures, embracing our differences, and building a global community.

The story of the girls is that they met at an exclusive gala at the Louvre. They were gathered to participate in a world wide scavenger hunt competition where the winners receive a million dollars! Their goal is to collect one item to represent every country in the world to then be displayed at the Louvre's new exhibit.They then go on to travel the world in their hot air balloon, learning about different cultures and languages, and collecting items from countries all around the world!

Each small doll comes with a passport activity book with stickers to "stamp" the passport pages with, and a code that unlocks access to more games and activities online!

As they travel the world looking for items in their hot air balloon, they can land anywhere in the world and transform their balloon into their very own café!

To enhance the language learning and scavenger hunt experience, there are Language Accessory Packs themed after different countries. Each pack includes: a food item, an animal, a two piece activity for the doll that unlocks online games, and a special mystery museum item!Each of the dolls interact with the items by saying special phrases in English and the country's language. "Mmm... Maple Syrup is delicious! ... Le sirop d'érable est délicieux!"

There are two sizes of each doll, each with a different purpose. The smaller doll is the one to play out the scavenger hunt, interacts with the vehicles & accessories, and has a limited amount of preset phrases. The large doll has a more expansive range of phrases and interactive technology to create an immersive environment for language learning.

To make playing with the large doll an even more immersive experience, there are matching traditional costumes for the girl and her doll!

Game Design

Fresh Trades: The Grocery Shopping Game is a strategy card game for more than just the grocery shoppers in the family, it’s fun for everyone! The goal is to collect the right food combinations to complete enough grocery lists and be the first to earn 22 points!
